Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for the role of the character Detective Diane Russell. Also, she has appeared in series like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Born as the only daughter of a high-ranking executive in the United Auto Workers and a household worker, Delaney had a family of four brothers. In childhood, Delaney dreamed of becoming a court reporter. She began modelling at the age of 14 and later landed commercials when she moved to New York. Her first role as an actor was as a teen innocent as a child in All My Children, a 1981 soap opera. Delaney was a talented young actress who was in her 20s, appeared in numerous TV shows as well as dramas. Delaney has not lived a good or satisfying personal life. She has been in the past accomplished actress battled the effects of alcohol and two marriages fall apart. Her custody in 2005 was taken away from her.
