Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thailand fighter, mixed martial arts artist, and competes within the UFC flyweight division. She is older than fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her journey as an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and beat Suzane Mill at the end of the tournament by a unanimous verdict. Antonina followed it up and received a silver award in 2007, a bronze award in 2008, and then a gold in 2011 as well as the 2015 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia started her professional career in at the age of 2003. Antonina won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012, the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships in 2016, as well as the WMC World Championships as well as Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Following this victory, Antonina got a UFC deal. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale vs Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi with a split decision fight, after winning her first bout by unanimous decision. Antonina has recovered from her loss through defeating Lucie Pudilova during UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. She was awarded the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko suffered defeat to Katlyn Cookagian and then defeated Ariane Lipski in her subsequent three bouts. Then, Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
