Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thailand fighter, mixed martial arts artist, and competes within the UFC flyweight division. She is older than fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her journey as an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and beat Suzane Mill at the end of the tournament by a unanimous verdict. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi with a split decision fight, after winning her first bout by unanimous decision. Antonina has recovered from her loss through defeating Lucie Pudilova during UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. She was awarded the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko suffered defeat to Katlyn Cookagian and then defeated Ariane Lipski in her subsequent three bouts. Then, Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
